Sat - Jul 03 9:00 PM		Reelfoot Lake Fireworks Display Reelfoot Lake Tourism Council invites all to come out to the American Legion Hwy. 21/22 and observe the fireworks display. Reelfoot Lake State Park will be hosting guided pontoon cruises, call 731-253-9652 for reservations. Live entertainment starts @ 7pm featuring Shelby Dee the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists from Newbern, TN. Entertainment is free to the public so bring your lawn chairs. Wed - Jul 07 -- Fri - Jul 09		2010 Reelfoot Refuge Romp Children ages 9-12 experience Reelfoot Lake for three days to the fullest. They will learn about frogs, turtles, water testing, conserving water, and nature journaling. Call Univerity of Tennessee's Reelfoot Research and Teaching Center 731-538-2277 for directions. Also you will explore Reelfoot on a pontoon cruise and learn about aquatic vegetation, macro-invertebrates, microscopes, birds of prey, mammals, skulls, history of Reelfoot Lake, scavenger hunt.
